<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt;">

<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt;">Palabras clave

<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-fareast-language: ES-MX;">Análisis de correlaciones, Caracterización de nivel de ruido, Ruido del tráfico vehicular, Variación de presión sonora, Variación de volúmenes de tránsito.<span lang="ES-MX" style="color: black; font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: ES-MX; mso-fareast-language: ES-CO; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">

<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Abstract

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">This article presents the results of the characterization of the noise produced by vehicle traffic in the downtown of Tunja city, Colombia. The methodology was focused in the evaluation of the levels of noise generated by the traffic, occurring in the point with more conditions of critical mobility on the Avenue 12 and the Avenue 9th in city´s downtown, and the correlation between levels of sound pressure and vehicle volume by means of an analysis of correlations of Pearson and variance analysis Anova, finding that the noise was not directly related to the magnitude of traffic flows, which allowed to suggest that the high levels of sound pressure were not an immediate consequence of the high vehicle flows, but rather they responded to the volumes of specific types of vehicles like those of public transportation, private citizens and taxis in Tunja City downtown.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Keywords

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Analysis of correlations, level of noise characterization, noise of vehicle traffic, sound pressure variation, traffic volume variation.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt;">Résumé
