Research Articles
Present original results derived from research processes that generate new knowledge relevant to the field of social sciences, thus contributing to the strengthening of the discipline. These manuscripts must clearly identify the research problem, summarize the most recent approaches in the literature, explicitly describe the employed methodology (design, type of study, population, sample, data collection instruments, and data analysis techniques), present the main findings, and discuss them in relation to existing literature, concluding with the main implications of the study.
Review Article
Constitute a rigorous exercise through which the author presents advances and trends in a specific topic—within the scope of the social sciences—by systematizing, integrating, and analyzing the published literature. This type of article must include a clear methodological approach and a sufficient number of bibliographic references supporting the review, which for the journal must not be fewer than 50 references.
Reflection Articles
Are contributions that present the results of completed research projects from an analytical, critical, or interpretative perspective of the author, regarding a specific topic, and are supported by relevant bibliographic sources.
